♦ The Crew

  • Kelly, a native Pittsburgher of Yinzer descent, spent her childhood getting lost in the woods and collecting insects. Her journey into fine art began at the age of five and continued through college. Despite her inclination towards environmental biology, a career in art was encouraged due to her origin in a parallel universe.

Haunted by a fear of mortality, Kelly aspires to create things that bring happiness to many. She harbors a hope that if modern civilization were to collapse into chaos, her creations would be a lasting legacy, ensuring that people remember her and possibly aid her survival amid the turmoil.

It's Kelly herself writing this, and she candidly admits her aversion to writing about herself in the third person. Disliking the situation, she reveals the truth that she has been the author all along. No need for a third person; it's just Kelly and the reader now. If there's anything you want to know about me, feel free to ask. Apologies if this wasn't as informative as expected.

  • Rachel (she/her) hails from Buffalo but has called Pittsburgh home for over a decade. As an introvert, she finds solace in the trifecta of chocolate, books, and coffee (in no specific order). Though initially seeming shy, Rachel can become quite talkative when discussing her beloved cats, and she's always up for a debate on the supremacy of different types of sponge candy. Professionally, Rachel is a skilled tattoo artist specializing in small-scale black and grey designs, fine lines, and Japanese traditional tattoos. If you're in search of this style of work, Rachel might be the perfect artist for you!

  • Izzy was born and raised in Rochester NY but moved down to Pittsburgh 3 years ago and has loved it ever since. Her friends call her an “unapologetic unhinged goofball” who they trust with their pets, plants, and deepest darkest secrets. She is starting her tattooing journey after 5 years in the corporate design world. It’s time for her to start a career where her creativity can take the front seat and make people's visions a reality. Check out some of her designs on her Instagram or feel free to email her here.

♦ Answers N’At

  • At Rogue we strive to maintain a clean, safe environment. We utilize the best sanitation equipment, and a strict adherence to sterile procedures. All individual cups of ink are disposed of after a single use, and gloves are changed frequently to prevent cross-contamination.

Every needle is single-use, every tube, grip, and tip is thoroughly scrubbed. Before being run through an ultrasonic cleaner to be sterilized under high heat and pressure in our autoclave.

There are also disposable grips that are single use and disposed of properly. Our tattooists are certified in both blood borne pathogens, and CPR.

  • Everyone has their our own slightly-different policies as far as touch-ups go. Most first touch ups are free when instructions are followed properly. If subsequent touch-ups are needed there will be a fee. Generally this ranges from a simple set up fee to shop minimum to cover costs. If there is gross negligence on behalf of the healer there may be a charge of full price to redo the piece.

  • At our shop, we specialize in tattoos, and do not offer piercing services. However, if yinz are interested, we recommend checking out Pittsburgh Body Piercing on Brereton St. They're a woman owned, sensitive, and professional local shop that offers a diverse range of piercing options. Like us, they operate by appointment only, so we suggest reaching out to them directly to schedule your session.

  • No, Dead names are not necessary when filling out our release forms. We respect you, and who you are.

  • We do not currently offer apprenticeships. The best advice we could offer you is to keep drawing, and never give up on your passion.

  • Unfortunately, no, we are appointment only. This is meant to ensure adequate time and care for each client. We do occasionally run flash (pre-made artwork) and specialty walk-in sales. These will be announced on our Instagram if and when they happen so make sure to follow us to keep up with the latest news!

  • Yes, we are only able to accommodate clients who are at least 18 years of age.

  • We are not able to provide any services to clients under the age of 18 under any circumstances.

  • Deposits are non-refundable. They hold your appointment time, and come off the final cost of your tattoo. They also cover time spent designing your art.

Have a question that isn’t covered here? Send us an email directly or head over to our contact page and use the included form. We’d be happy to answer any further questions yinz may have.
